PH resupply mission to Ayungin Shoal harassed anew by Chinese vessels

Tensions in the West Philippine Sea escalated anew with another close call over the weekend. Chinese ships sailed dangerously close and eventually blocked Philippine Coast Guard vessels escorting boats on a routine supply mission in Ayungin Shoal.
