Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 4) — Some local government units (LGUs) announced class suspensions on Friday due to the effects of the enhanced southwest monsoon.
Both Typhoon Falcon and Super Typhoon Egay are already outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) but several areas are still recovering from the impact of continuous rains and flooding.
Here are the LGUs that issued suspensions:
Pampanga – all levels in public and private schools
Dagupan City – all levels in public and private schools, work in government offices
Angeles City – all levels in public and private schools
