It has been 40 years since former senator Ninoy Aquino was assassinated at Manila’s airport tarmac after he returned from a long exile in the United States.
Ahead of his death anniversary, Aquino’s family and supporters already started paying tribute to one of the staunchest forces against then-president Ferdinand Marcos.
