Rehabilitation of Paracale River system urged by locals

The municipality of Paracale in Camarines Norte is no stranger to storm surges and floods. Its residents face constant threat from the heavily-silted river encircling the town. Fishermen also have difficulty navigating through the shallow river just to make a living.
