IVE to surprise Filo DIVEs with ‘never-before broadcasted’ songs in first fan concert

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, June 16) — A special treat awaits Filo DIVEs as K-Pop girl group IVE is set to perform “never-before broadcasted” songs in their first fan concert in the country on Saturday.

In a meet with the press, IVE members Yujin, Wonyoung, Leeseo, Gaeul, Rei, and Liz said they received a warm welcome from Filipino fans and are excited for what’s in store for them in their “The Prom Queens” concert.

“Since this is a fan concert which is done in collaboration with the fans, everyone is excited for it. We will be performing songs from the album that has never been broadcasted before,” IVE leader Yujin said in Korean.

“Each and every member also prepared for a lot of things for tomorrow,” she added.

The six-member group mainly talked about their latest album “I’ve IVE,” which is centered on the theme of self-love. They said each of them pitched in to contribute writing at least one of the tracks.

The Ive IVE album has sold over 1,300,000 copies in its opening week, ranking top of the Circle Album Chart in April.

“Among the songs in the album, we have a special song titled Shine With Me and it is a very special song for us because it allows us to remember and reminisce the memories that we have of our DIVE. It’s one of our favorite songs,” IVE rapper Rei said in Korean.

Lead vocalist Liz added that the group also loves their title song I AM, which represents their goals as artists.

Meanwhile, IVE vocalist Gaeul said the group loves dancing to their pre-release single Kitsch. Wonyoung added that the group also enjoyed shooting the track’s music video.

IVE’s top selling tracks include debut song ELEVEN, which placed fourth on Billboard’s Hot Trending Songs chart, and LOVE DIVE, which snagged Best Song of the Year in the 2022 Melon Music Awards.
