Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 9) — Seven people died in a fire in a residential area in Taytay, Rizal on Saturday, authorities reported.
The Taytay Public Information Office also said 30 families were affected by the blaze along Rosario Street in Barangay San Juan.
The fire reached third alarm before “fire out” was declared at 11:05 p.m. Saturday.
Another fire broke out in Sitio Bato Bato, Barangay Dolores at 12:56 am Sunday. “Fire out” was declared at 3:11 am.
The blaze affected 115 families. No fatalities were reported, but four people were injured.
Authorities have not yet determined the cause of both incidents.
