Fuel price cut set this week

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 24) — Oil companies will reduce the prices of petroleum products starting Tuesday.

In separate advisories on Monday, Seaoil, Cleanfuel, Jetti, and Caltex said the per-liter prices of gasoline and diesel would decrease by ₱1.40 and 70 centavos, respectively.

For kerosene, prices would be slashed by 20 centavos per liter.

According to the oil monitoring of the Department of Energy as of April 18, the year-to-date per-liter decrease stood at ₱2.35 for diesel and ₱3.35 for kerosene. Gasoline has a net increase of ₱8.95 per liter.
