
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 9) — Fuel companies are expected to implement rollbacks in petroleum prices next week, according to a forecast by Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc. on Saturday.
Unioil said the per liter cost of diesel may go down by ₱1.80 to ₱2.00 while gasoline may see a rollback of ₱1.40 to ₱1.60 per liter.
It added that the fuel price adjustments are expected from Dec. 12 to 18.
According to the Department of Energy’s data on Dec. 5, the price adjustments resulted in a year-to-date net increase of ₱12.60 for gasoline, ₱5.70 for diesel and ₱1.94 for kerosene.
