Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 25) — Fuel companies will implement price increases in petroleum products on Christmas week starting Tuesday.

In separate advisories on Monday, Cleanfuel and Seaoil said the per-liter cost of diesel will increase by ₱1.70 while gasoline prices will cost ₱1.60 more per liter.

Jetti, Petro Gazz, Unioil, Flying V and Phoenix said it will also implement the same oil price adjustments.

Kerosene prices will go up by ₱1.54 per liter, Seaoil said.

The price increases of Cleanfuel will take effect at 4:01 p.m. while Seaoil, Phoenix, Flying V and Jetti’s adjustments will be implemented at 6 a.m.

Other oil companies are expected to make their announcements at the start of the week.

The Department of Energy’s Dec. 19 data showed that the price adjustments have resulted in a year-to-date increase of gasoline by ₱11 per liter and diesel by ₱3.95 per liter, and a decrease of kerosene by 31 centavos.
