Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 3) — The “Two Rabbits Code” fan concert of Mamamoo+ in Manila slated in December has been canceled, the group’s agency RBW announced on Friday.
RBW said the decision to halt the first fan concert of the sub-unit of Solar and Moonbyul was prompted by “difficulties in proceeding due to local circumstances.”
Event organizer OctoArts Entertainment has yet to post the news of the cancellation.
This is the second heartbreak for the group’s Filipino fans this year.
Mamamoo+ was part of the line-up for the “The Super Stage by K-pop in Manila” concert in August, but the event also organized by OctoArts Entertainment was canceled without an explanation.
Their fans are calling on other concert organizers to handle the future engagements of the group in the Philippines.
Mamamoo — composed of Solar, Moonbyul, Hwasa, and Wheein — held a sold-out first concert in Manila last February for the “My Con” Asia leg.
