OFW freed by Hamas may be home with family before Christmas

After nearly two months in the hands of militant group Hamas, Filipino caregiver Gelienor Jimmy Pacheco may finally spend Christmas with his family in the Philippines.

The Foreign Affairs department, meanwhile, says it will continue to seek the release of 17 Filipino seamen taken hostage by Houthi rebels.
