
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 25) — A prosecutor in Jordan has indicted the suspect in the killing of a female overseas Filipino worker (OFW) who was found dead inside her employer’s basement closet, Migrant Workers Officer-in-charge Hans Leo Cacdac said.
In a social media post, Cacdac said he has already updated the family of caregiver Mary Grace Santos on the indictment.
“In the case of slain Jordanian OFW Mary Grace Santos, we updated Nanay Santos today about the indictment by the Prosecutor of the accused perpetrator,” Cacdac posted on Thursday.

Santos, a 34-year-old who hailed from Pampanga, was allegedly raped and killed by an underaged Egyptian suspect. She was reported missing on Oct. 11.
Santos had been working as a caregiver abroad for eight years to support her two children, one of whom has congenital heart disease
