Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 2) — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said five Filipinos will be coming home from Lebanon on Nov. 4, the second batch to be repatriated from the Middle Eastern country

They will be arriving at 3:55 p.m. via Dubai, DFA Undersecretary Eduardo de Vega said. The first group returned to the country on Oct. 28.

De Vega told reporters on Thursday that a total of 162 Filipinos want to be repatriated.

However, 41 have not received permission from their employers, he said.

De Vega also said more Filipinos will be repatriated from Israel.

“Right now there’s about 140 or so Filipinos who still want to go home,” he said. “Nakauwi na tayo ng [We have brought home] 123 including two infants.”

“There’s about 45 going home on November 6,” he added. “So around a hundred still have to go home.”
