SRA: Block farms may reinforce sugar production to address El Niño

The Sugar Regulatory Administration says block farming may help increase sugar production as it braces for the impact of El Niño on agriculture.

Farmers with less than two hectares of land could benefit from the program.

But the SRA says it can only fund 20 to 30 block farms per year with the current budget.
