Agriculture officials have started enforcing the suggested retail price or SRP of 250 pesos per kilogram for red onions.
The DA says some wet markets have lowered prices to 400 pesos from over 700 pesos per kilogram in Metro Manila.
But as Currie Cator reports other vendors and consumers have yet to feel the lower costs.
