Metro Manila, Philippines – A new trailer for “Supergirl,” starring Milly Alcock, has been released ahead of its Philippine premiere on June 24.
The upcoming film follows Kara Zor-El as she faces a powerful new enemy, forcing her into an unexpected alliance on a high-stakes journey of vengeance and justice across the universe.
Directed by Craig Gillespie, the movie is part of the latest slate from DC Studios, with producers James Gunn and Peter Safran.
The cast includes Jason Momoa, Matthias Schoenaerts, and David Krumholtz.
“Supergirl” is based on characters from DC Comics originally created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
The film is set for international release beginning June 24, including in Philippine cinemas, with a North American release scheduled two days later.
Warner Bros. Pictures said the film will also be released in IMAX as part of its global rollout this summer.
