Metro Manila, Philippines – Jayson Castro and Isaac Go will be returning to hardcourt action as the PBA teams released their rosters for the Season 50 Commissioner’s Cup on Tuesday, March 10.
Castro is listed in the defending champions TNT Tropang 5G’s lineup together with Simon Enciso, Tyrus Hill, Rey Nambatac, Calvin Oftana, Glenn Khobuntin, Mike Nieto, Jordan Heading, Roger Pogoy, Kelly Williams, Jio Jalalon, Henry Galinato, Kim Aurin, Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser, Kevin Ferrer, and import Bol Manute Budut Bol.
Poy Erram has been placed in the injured/reserved list.
Meanwhile, Go is part of Barangay Ginebra’s crew for the mid-season conference alongside Troy Rosario, Jeremiah Gray, RJ Abarrientos, Scottie Thompson, Nards Pinto, Stephen Holt, Ralph Cu, John Abis, Raymond Aguilar, Jayson David, Japeth Aguilar, Norbert Torres, Kemark Carino, Sonny Estil, and resident reinforcement Justin Brownlee.
Castro and Go were both sidelined last season due to a right knee patellar tendon tear injury and a right knee ACL tear injury, respectively.
Terrafirma will be without Mark Nonoy and Louie Sangalang in their opening game as the Dyip’s top two scorers were left out of the team lineup.
The Commissioner’s Cup will tip off on March 11 at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Manila, with Terrafirma facing the Titan Ultra Giant Risers at 5:15 p.m. and Converge FiberXers battling guest team Macau Black Knights at 7:30 p.m.
