Metro Manila, Philippines – Former sexbomb dancer Izzy Trazona’s transdaughter, Sofia, is speaking out against what she described as “hate” from her stepfather, Alvin Aragon, a professing Christian, as she addressed their family’s controversy and alleged past abuse.
In a video message posted on social media, the drag artist said she was confused by Aragon’s strong remarks about faith and homosexuality, and asked why compassion seemed absent despite his faith.
Trazona said Aragon once choked her during a confrontation, which she said she initially kept private to protect him. Aragon has not publicly responded to the allegation as of posting time.
“I don’t know where the anger in your heart is coming from,” she said, adding that she believes Christians should show grace and understanding amid disagreements.
The video followed Aragon’s recent interviews, where he made controversial statements condemning homosexuality on religious grounds that triggered online backlash. Addressing the criticism, Trazona said she has grown weary of defending herself and her mother while facing public scrutiny.
“I’m tired, I’m hurting,” she said, emphasizing that she had no intention of destroying their family’s image.
“To be honest, you were supposed to be full of love but I understand that no Christian is perfect,” she said.
Trazonathen lamented the way Aragon is destroying her image.
“Hindi ko nga sinabi na sinakal mo ako. Hindi pa ako makahinga ng ilang seconds, pero hindi ko pinersonal noon,” she added.

Earlier, in a vlog interview with talent manager Ogie Diaz, Trazona clarified that her decision to live independently and move in with her biological father was her own. She said she became uncomfortable with the “family dynamics” at home but noted that she does not question her mother Izzy Trazona’s love for her.
The two have not seen each other in three years, though they continue to communicate through text messages. Trazona said she hopes they will reconcile when the time is right.
Trazona had publicly declared she is “trans and proud,” which sparked renewed debate online after Izzy Trazona previously voiced religious concerns about her child’s drag identity. Trazona has said her biological father fully accepts her.
Meanwhile, Izzy has maintained a faith-centered stance in public posts, acknowledging the challenges facing their family while urging continued prayer and strength.
