Janti Miller commits to play for La Salle

Metro Manila, Philippines – From one champion school to another.

Janti Miller will transfer to De La Salle University to play for the Green Archers.

The 6-foot-4 cager has put an end to the speculations that he is joining a UAAP team in an Instagram post on Wednesday, Feb. 4.

Miller will sit out UAAP Season 89 due to the residency rule and will be eligible to play two years for the defending champion La Salle.

Just days after helping San Beda clinch the Season 101 crown, Miller was present during Game 2 of the UAAP Season 88 finals between La Salle and University of the Philippines back in December at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, sitting at the Green Archers’ side.

Miller decided to leave San Beda University last month. He averaged 19.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in his lone NCAA season.

Miller joins Evan Nelle and Jacob Cortez in a list of former San Beda champion players who transferred to the UAAP and won a title with La Salle in recent years.
