HONG KONG (Reuters) – China’s direct economic losses from natural disasters totalled 241.6 billion yuan ($34.7 billion) in 2025, with more than 700 people dead or missing, more than 3 million relocated and millions of crops affected, the country’s ministry of emergency management said on Friday.
