Metro Manila, Philippines – Television host Kuya Kim Atienza paid tribute to his youngest daughter, Emman Atienza, to mark Christmas day.
In an Instagram post, Atienza shared what he described as their last family photo with Emman.
Based on the geotag, the picture was taken in New York on Christmas Eve 2024. The photo showed Atienza with his wife, Felicia, and their children Jose, Eliana and Emman, all dressed in holiday attire.
“How we miss you, dearest Emmansky,” Atienza wrote.
He also reflected on celebrating Christmas amid grief, thanking Jesus “for being born to us amidst suffering and grief” and expressing gratitude for the 19 years they shared with Emman.
He said the family continues to trust in God’s plan.
Atienza also thanked friends who supported their family during what he described as their darkest moment.
Emman’s death was announced by the Atienza family on Oct. 24. She was 19.
