Metro Manila, Philippines – Filipino gymnast Karl Eldrew Yulo clinched the bronze medal in the floor exercise final at the 3rd FIG Artistic Gymnastics Junior World Championships held in Manila on Sunday, Nov. 23.
Yulo earned 13.733 points for his floor exercise routine that he showcased at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City.
China’s Yang Lanbin scored 13.833 points to win the gold medal, followed by Italy’s Simone Speranza, who got 13.766 points to get silver.
Yulo emerged in eighth place in the all-around finals.
He will show more of his talents during the final competitions for vault and horizontal bars on Monday.
The 17-year-old gymnast is the junior Asian champion in vault in 2024. He is the brother of two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo.
