5 Ways IKEA is Bringing the Holidays to Your Home

Christmas is when the Filipino heart shines brightest — and IKEA knows that home is where the heart is, especially during the holidays. It’s the season of simmering pots, twinkling tablescapes, and generous plates passed from hand to hand, and this year the Swedish home brand is turning the spotlight on the spaces where it all happens: our kitchens and dining rooms.

At its Flavors of Home: Feastival event, IKEA gathered food vloggers and interior designers to share their tips on cooking festive dishes and transforming spaces for noche buena. The celebration also came with exciting promos and holiday exclusives sure to brighten up any home this season.

1. Sales and Rebates, Galore!

For the budget-conscious, IKEA’s holiday sales are reason enough to celebrate. Plates for as low as ₱39 were announced during the event, perfect for hosting big family dinners without breaking the bank. And for those planning a full home upgrade, a 10% rebate in IKEA gift certificates awaits shoppers who spend ₱50,000 and above.

2. Christmas-Ready Recipes

Foodie creators Icoy Rapadas, Grace Tanfelix, and Mitch Ngo served up holiday dishes in a live cooking demonstration inside one of IKEA’s showrooms. Using ingredients from IKEA’s food section—including the famous meatballs and salmon—the live demo showed just how simple it is to whip up a holiday-worthy feast without the stress.

3. A Perfect Holiday Table Setting

Interior designer Elle Uy shared creative ways to dress up a Christmas table using IKEA’s latest VINTERFINT (“nice winter”) collection — from festive vases to charming dinnerware and décor that turn any meal into a celebration.

4. Kitchen Fit for a Feast

Whether you’re frying up some Lumpiang Shanghai, cooking some barbecue, IKEA has every tool you need to make it happen. With thousands of kitchen products — and the convenience of home delivery — preparing your Christmas spread has never been easier.

5. Take Home Treats

To cap off the Flavors of Home event, IKEA highlighted the Filipino tradition of taking home leftovers—or as Pinoys like to say, balutin ang mga tira. As a special surprise, singer Angeline Quinto performed a tongue-in-cheek rendition of Sharon Cuneta’s “Bituing Walang Ningning” (famous for its line “balutin mo ako…”) while IKEA personnel handed out “leftovers” of lechon and pastries to the crowd—packaged, of course, in IKEA food containers we all need ready for our visitors.

With the holiday season in full swing, IKEA is making sure every home is ready to host, feast, and make memories that last long after the last plate is cleared. For more information, visit IKEA.ph.
