Metro Manila, Philippines – The much-awaited sequel to the 2017 hit film, “Bar Boys,” has dropped its full trailer, revealing new faces and a glimpse into the lives of its beloved law school barkada a decade later.
Titled “Bar Boys: After School,” the sequel features returning stars Carlo Aquino, Rocco Nacino, Enzo Pineda, Kean Cipriano, and Odette Khan reprising their roles.
The trailer opens with a nostalgic scene showing Torran (Nacino), Chris (Pineda), Josh (Cipriano), and Erik (Aquino) sharing a toast as they reminisced about law school days a decade after graduation.
The preview also introduces new characters portrayed by Glaiza de Castro, Will Ashley, Sassa Gurl, Therese Malvar, Emilio Daez, Klarisse de Guzman, Bryce Eusebio, and Royce Cabrera.
One highlight features De Castro performing in a nightclub, followed by an intimate moment with Nacino’s character.
Directed by Kip Oebanda, Bar Boys: After School continues the story of friendship, ambition, and the struggles of life after law school. The sequel is among the official entries to the Metro Manila Film Festival and is set to premiere in theaters on Dec. 25.
