
Metro Manila, Philippines – The Cebu earthquake death toll climbed to 74 after two more fatalities were recorded, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) data showed on Thursday, Oct. 9.
The NDRRMC said the two new deaths were from the towns of Tabogon and Medellin.
There were 559 injuries logged.
Meanwhile, 189,620 families, equivalent to 666,439 individuals, were affected by the quake with hundreds staying in evacuation centers.
