Office of Civil Defense Central Visayas director Joel Erestain previously explained the revision was “a matter of double entry.”
On Sunday’s report, the NDRRMC said 559 individuals were reportedly injured.
In a radio interview on Saturday, the Department of Health announced that earthquake victims can avail free orthopedic treatment under PhilHealth’ s “Z benefits” package.
The 6.9-magnitude offshore tremor hit Bogo City on Sept. 30, damaging over 18,000 houses and 713 infrastructure in the province, including a centuries-old church in Daanbantayan town.
As of Sunday, 48 areas in Western Visayas experience power interruption.
