Willy Wilson appointed as new Phoenix head coach

Metro Manila, Philippines – Willy Wilson has been named the new head coach of the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters, the team announced on Friday.

“Management believes that coach Willy will be a good fit for the team as it continues to pursue more success in Season 50,” the ballclub said in a statement.

The 45-year-old Wilson takes over the role of Jamike Jarin, who has been assigned as team consultant moving forward.

Wilson played in the PBA for more than a decade, with the Fuel Masters as his last stop before becoming a part of the squad’s coaching staff.

\”His experience both as a PBA player and coach will be an instrumental tool as he steers the best out of the Fuel Masters in the coming season,\” the team said.
