Metro Manila, Philippines – The Department of Health (DOH) on Saturday, Aug. 9, opened “fast lanes” hospitals for patients exposed in floodwaters amid the rising cases of leptospirosis.
Nineteen DOH hospitals were identified to assess patients with suspected leptospirosis.These are:1. San Lorenzo Ruiz General Hospital2. East Avenue Medical Center3. Quirino Memorial Medical Center4. Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital and Sanitarium5. Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital6. Philippine Orthopedic Center7. San Lazaro Hospital8. Valenzuela Medical Center9. Tondo Medical Center10. Las Piñas General Hospital and Satellite Trauma Center11. Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center12. Rizal Medical Center13. Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center14. National Children’s Hospital15. National Center for Mental Health16. Lung Center of the Philippines17. National Kidney and Transplant Institute18. Philippine Children’s Medical Center19.
