
Metro Manila, Philippines – Filipino travelers can still visit Taiwan without a visa up to next year. Taiwanese Foreign Minister Lin Chia-lung made the announcement during the celebration of Philippine Independence Day hosted by the Manila Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei.
The minister said the extension aims to deepen people-to-people ties and further strengthen bilateral relations. Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said an official announcement on the extension will be issued Monday, June 16.
