Metro Manila, Philippines – Motorists will see a mixed movement in fuel prices on Tuesday, May 27.

In separate advisories on Monday, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti Petroleum, Phoenix Petroleum, and Seaoil announced gasoline prices will go up by P0.10 per liter, while diesel will go down by P0.20 per liter.

Caltex and Seaoil said kerosene will be P0.40 less per liter.

Oil companies raised pump prices last week.

Among the possible reasons for this week’s movement was the “cooling” trade tensions between the United States and China, the Department of Energy previously said.

On Tuesday, year-to-date for gasoline price is a net increase of P4.10 per liter, diesel a net increase of P3.60 per liter, and kerosene a net decline of P2.45 per liter.
