
Metro Manila, Philippines – The level of humidity combined with temperature in four areas of the country may reach dangerous levels on Wednesday, March 5, the weather agency said.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration, identified the areas as:
+ Legazpi, Albay – 43°C
+ Virac, Catanduanes – 43°C
+ Pili, Camarines Sur – 43°C
+ San Jose, Occidental Mindoro – 42°C
Health officials said extreme heat may cause fatigue, cramps, and stroke.
It advised the public to drink water regularly, limit outdoor activities, and use or apply sun protection.
