Putin ally tells Xi in Beijing that Russia-China relations are at an unprecedented high, TASS reports

(Reuters) – Sergei Shoigu, the secretary of Russia’s Security Council, told Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday that Russia-China relations were at an unprecedented high, Russia’s TASS state news agency reported.

Shoigu, who met earlier on Friday in Beijing with China’s foreign minister, said the two countries’ partnership was not directed against other nations.
