Metro Manila, Philippines — Motorists will need to shell out more to buy fuel beginning Tuesday, Oct. 15.
Seaoil and Cleanfuel announced Monday an increase in per-liter prices of diesel by ₱2.70 and gasoline by ₱2.65.
Seaoil said kerosene will cost ₱2.60 more per liter.
The Department of Energy earlier said oil price movements would be affected by the escalating conflict in the Middle East, which threatens to disrupt oil exports with an increasing war premium. Another factor would be hurricane Milton in the US which disrupted the energy supply chain.
