
Metro Manila, Philippines — Second alarm has been raised over Marikina River amid the continuous rains brought by Tropical Storm Enteng on Monday, Sept. 2.
The river reached 16 meters at 8:32 a.m., signaling the second alarm.
First alarm was hoisted at 7:51 a.m. when the water hit 15 meters.
Residents near the river would be forced to evacuate if a third alarm is raised, when the water rises to 18 meters.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) last monitored Enteng off Camarines Norte or Quezon.
