
Metro Manila, Philippines — Filipino golfer Bianca Pagdanganan fired three-under-par 69 in the second round of the women’s individual stroke play Thursday in the Paris 2024 Olympics at the Le Golf National.
The 26-year-old Pagdanganan had another impressive performance on the back nine as she had a birdie on three of the last five holes. She rose seven spots for a share of sixth place.
Pagdanganan’s 141 total is only five shots off leader Morgane Metraux of Sweden who had a 66 for an eight-under par 136 total.
Dottie Ardina, the other Filipino bet in the tournament, shot four-over-par 72 to settle at the tied 36th spot.
Meanwhile, Filipino Japanese Yuka Saso is at joint 47th with a two-day total of 151.
