Metro Manila, Philippines — Fuel products are set to break the rising price trend next week, the Department of Energy (DOE) said.

In a message to NewsWatch Plus on Friday, July 13, the DOE said per-liter prices for gasoline may go down by ₱0.70 to ₱0.90.

Diesel and kerosene prices may decline by ₱1 to ₱1.15 per liter, according to the agency’s estimated adjustments based on the global market trade.

As of July 9, the DOE said the year-to-date net increase of gasoline is ₱10.85 per liter, ₱9.05 per liter for diesel, and ₱2.35 per liter for kerosene.
