Canadian suspect in biggest shabu haul in Batangas arrested

Metro Manila, Philippines – The Canadian suspect tagged in the biggest shabu (crystal methamphetamine) haul in Batangas was arrested, authorities said on Friday, May 17.

Based on the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) report, authorities caught Thomas Gordon O’Quinn in Barangay Maitim II West, Tagaytay City, Cavite on May 16, 9 p.m.

O’Quinn is also in the International Criminal Police Organization’s red notice.

The NCRPO recommended O’Quinn for prosecution for violating the drug law and using a false name.

In April, authorities confiscated 1.4 tons of shabu worth P9.6 billion at a checkpoint in Alitagtag, Batangas.
