LTO: Crackdown on ‘unconsolidated’ units may result in fewer jeepneys

February 1st is just around the corner when authorities will begin flagging down drivers whose jeepney units are not part of a cooperative or corporation.

The Land Transportation Office admits, the crackdown against illegal jeepneys may impact public transport on some routes.
