Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, January 8) — A fire hit a building rooftop in the country’s prime financial district and was put out before midday, fire authorities said on Monday.

Makati City firemen said the blaze hit the 45th level of Altaire Tower along Malugay Street in Barangay Bel-Air in morning. Authorities are investigating the cause of fire. There are no casualties.

Guadalupe Viejo Fire & Rescue said in a statement it declared a fire out at 11 a.m. Authorities only raised the lowest alarm.
