Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 25) — Vice President Sara Duterte told Filipinos to spread love this holiday season, especially to those in need.
“Alalahanin natin ang ating mga pamilya at ang kahalagahan ng pagmamahalan natin sa isa’t isa — na siyang regalo natin sa ating mga sarili, sa ating mga komunidad, at sa ating bayan,” she said in a Christmas video message posted on her Facebook page on Sunday.

The vice president also reminded Filipinos not to forget our countrymen who are in need, hungry, sick, or near death.
In another video message uploaded on Monday, she expressed her gratitude towards overseas Filipino workers and others living abroad for the sacrifices they are making for their family and the country.
“Kayo ang repleksyon ng progreso at talento na nag-aangat sa bandila ng Pilipinas saan mang panig ng mundo,” Duterte said.

She assured them of her support as they work for a better life for themselves and their families.
