Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 14) — Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) chairperson Teofilo Guadiz III said armed men barged into his home on Thursday, alarming his family.
“This traumatic experience, especially for my 91-year-old mother, has left us deeply unsettled,” he said in a statement.
Guadiz said the motive for the raid seems personal but remains unclear.
“The intrusion, involving three cars and over 10 armed assailants, appears to be more than a routine robbery,” he added.
The LTFRB official said that he is cooperating with authorities to investigate the incident.
