Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 24) – Michelle Marquez Dee won the Best National Costume Award at Miss Universe 2023, the international pageant organizer announced Friday.
The Miss Universe Top 10 Finalist won through fan vote.
This victory makes four awards for the beauty queen and army reservist. The other three include the Spirit of Carnival Award, the Miss Universe’ fan vote, and one of three gold winners of the Voice for Change competition.
For the 72nd Miss Universe, Dee wore an airplane themed national costume as a nod to her military training.

It was crafted by Michael Barassi, the same designer who came up with Dee’s national costume for Miss Universe Philippines last year.
