Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 1) — The family of late dictator Ferdinand E. Marcos gathered on Wednesday for a visit to his tomb at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.

Based on a series of photos and videos sent to the Malacañang Press Corps pool, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., his wife Liza Araneta-Marcos, Sen. Imee Marcos, and other family members were present.

Former first lady Imelda Marcos arrived earlier and was also seen in her wheelchair.

Malacañang earlier said a mass would be held for the former president.

In 2016, the Marcos patriarch was buried at the Libingan ng mga Bayani, 27 years after his death. This received criticisms amid human rights abuses recorded during his regime.
