Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 7) — Motorists may pump additional fuel as oil companies are expected to cut prices next week, according to a forecast by Unioil Petroleum Philippines on Saturday.
The cost of gasoline may go down by ₱2.80 to ₱3.10 per liter while diesel may be cheaper by ₱2.30 to ₱2.50 per liter.
Unioil said the rollback is expected from Oct. 10 to 16.
The Department of Energy’s monitoring on Oct. 3 showed the oil price adjustments have resulted in a year-to-date increase of gasoline by ₱15.30 per liter, diesel by ₱13.80 per liter, and kerosene by ₱8.94 per liter.
