Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, September 29) — TWICE’s Chaeyoung will be unable to participate in the K-pop girl group’s “READY TO BE” concert in the country this weekend due to health issues, her agency announced Friday.
“We convey this unfortunate news with a heavy heart as we know everyone was eagerly anticipating the show. We kindly request your understanding as this decision was made after much consideration to protect the health of the artist,” JYP Entertainment said in a statement.

The company did not specify details about the artist’s condition.
TWICE is set to hold its two-day concert at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.
The nine-member girl group last performed in Manila in 2019 for their “Twicelights” tour.
