
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, September 18) — Some of the biggest names in the Korean entertainment industry will attend the Asia Artist Awards 2023 in the Philippines on December 14.
The eighth edition of the awards ceremony will be held at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan which has a seating capacity of over 50,000 — making it the world’s largest mixed-use indoor theater, according to the Guiness World Records.
The AAA, which is considered as Asia’s Oscars and Grammy Awards, recognizes Asian artists in film, television, and music. The annual ceremony is graced by Korean actors and artists, as well as other Asian talents.
IVE’s Jang Won-young, soloist Kang Daniel, and ZEROBASEONE’s Seong Han-Bin will serve as hosts for the event.
According to reports of Korean news outlet Star News, more than 20 K-pop groups and singers are so far confirmed to perform at the highly anticipated awards night:

“Start Up” actor Kim Seon-ho and “Reply 1988” star Lee Dong-hwi have already visited the Philippines, while “Business Proposal” stars Ahn Hyo-seop and Kim Se-jeong also had their respective fan meetings and concert last October in Manila.
Lee Jun-ho, who also met his Filipino fans this November, bagged the top prize for acting in last year’s awards held in Nagoya, Japan. Also named big winners then were K-pop groups Seventeen, NewJeans, Stray Kids, and IVE.
Tickets went on sale on November 12.
