Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 12) — The Malolos-Clark segment of the North-South Commuter Railway Project is now 48.08% complete, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) said Friday.
The segment will connect Malolos in Bulacan and Clark in Pampanga, and is expected to cut the travel time from an hour to around 30 minutes once completed by 2028.
It is also seen to serve an estimated 340,000 passengers daily, according to the DOTr.
“Tampok din sa proyekto ang state-of-the-art facilities, gender equality and social inclusion features, at maging ang kauna-unahang airport express ng bansa!” the agency said on Facebook.
