Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 11) — Blacklist International will be missing the services of Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna and Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario as the duo will be taking a break from the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 12.
This is the second time that OhMyV33nus and Wise have decided to skip the local tournament.
Blacklist finished second to last when the two stars did not play in Season 9.
OhMyV33nus and Wise are three-time champions in MPL-PH, leading Blacklist to glory in Seasons 7, 8, and 10.
With their absence, Blacklist will be banking on veterans Edward Jay “Edward” Dapadap, Kiel “Oheb” Soriano, Salic “Hadji” Imam, Renejay “Renejay” Barcarse.
Also part of the lineup are Lee Howard “Owl” Gonzales, Kenneth Carl “Yue” Tadeo, Russel “Eyon” Usi, Kim “Kimpoy” Dela Cruz, and Stephen “Sensui” Castillo who will be taking the jungle position.
Meanwhile, Dexter “Dex Star” Alaba and Aniel “MasterTheBasics” Jiandani are still part of the coaching staff with Kristoffer “BON CHAN” Ricaplaza returning after taking a break.
Blacklist settled for a runner-up finish in MPL-PH Season 11, losing to Echo in the grand finals.
