Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 29) – Fuel prices are expected to go up for the third consecutive week, according to a forecast by Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc. on Saturday.

Unioil said oil price adjustments are expected from August 1 to 7.

The per liter price of diesel is seen to go up by ₱3.20 to ₱3.40 while the price of gasoline may increase by ₱1.70 to ₱1.90 per liter.

According to the Department of Energy, the price adjustments resulted in a year-to-date net decrease of ₱0.40 per liter for diesel and ₱3.35 per liter for kerosene, while gasoline had a net increase of ₱8.90 per liter.
