
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 22) — Motorists should brace for another oil price hike next week, Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc. said Saturday.
Unioil said per-liter prices of diesel are seen to go up by ₱0.30 to ₱0.40 on July 25.
Per-liter prices of gasoline may rise by ₱1.20 to ₱1.40.
On July 18, oil companies implemented a hefty increase in pump prices.
According to the Department of Energy, the latest price adjustments resulted in a year-to-date net decrease of ₱0.85 per liter for diesel and ₱3.70 per liter for kerosene.
Gasoline had a net increase of ₱7.55 per liter, the agency added.
